I must lose 80 lbs in the next 6 months for a major event in my life. That is an average of 3 lbs per week. I have already lost 27 lbs in the past the six weeks through diet and exercise, but I am afraid it is going to start slowing down even if I continue to do everything the same.

I need some serious advice and instruction on exactly what to do. Please don't tell me it is not safe or recommended to lose more than 1-2 lbs per week because I already know that and why!

To help, I am 5'3", current weight 205, goal weight is 125, age 45.

Serious responses only, please. Thanks!!!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

If you are healthy enough to go walking......
If you keep the same diet and walk 1 mile in 20 minutes twice a week you will lose 2 pounds a week. Cut out soft drinks (even diet ones) and drink water instead and go easy on the salt.
But losing weight isnt worth it if you make yourself sick by trying too hard. Be careful and good luck!
