The soul is a man. The soul is not immortal. After death it ceases to exist.
"And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul." -- Genesis 2:7
"In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return." -- Genesis 3:19
"The soul that is sinning—it itself will die." -- Ezekiel 18:4
"For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten." -- Ecclesiastes 9:5
"All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol, the place to which you are going." -- Ecclesiastes 9:10
"His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish." -- Psalm 146:4
What is “the force of life”/spirit? It is the vital spark of life that God put into the lifeless body of Adam. This force was then sustained by the breathing process. But what is the “spirit” referred to at Psalm 146:4? That verse says of one who dies: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.” When the Bible writers used the word “spirit” in this way, they did not have in mind a disembodied soul that continues living after the body dies.
The “spirit” that departs from humans at death is the life force that originated with our Creator. (Psalm 36:9; Acts 17:28)

When our body dies our Spirit which is made of energy lives on. It is not physical you cannot touch it it is much like oxygen we know it is there even though we cannot see it, it continues to live on that is how some people have had out of body experiences.
Many sane people have seen Ghosts or spirits whatever you want to call them.
You live on forever.
Jesus died and His spirit rose.
Our bodies are nothing more than flesh our Soul is what makes us who we are and is the important part of who we are. Kind of like a peanut you crack the shell and throw it away the important part is inside the shell.
Mathew 10:28 and do not fear those that kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell

Very exciting theory. And it must be merely as a threat as the different properly theory out thought. I even have seen documentaries that have been approximately our souls or chi and how a physique weighs much less after the life power departs from it. thoughts of ghostly encounters additionally help your thought, because of the fact the ghosts are just about continuously seen status or walking like they're laid low with gravity because of the fact the living are. So does this mean we merely isn't cruiseing the cosmos jointly sometime on a non secular container holiday? damn, i became kinda finding forward to that.

It is a physical object.
If you are in Israel, right after a terrorist bombing, you will see a special clean up crew whose job it is to pick up every piece of a soul left behind by those killed.
They chip up the streets, buildings, anywhere they find a bit of it, in order to have it properly buried.
What they are picking up is blood, which the Bible says is the soul.
Of course you could say the Bible is wrong.

The soul is your spirit inside of your body of flesh. It must follow the laws of your body of flesh. When your soul is taken out of your body, then it is your spirit The spirit is like the wind, we can not know where, to and from, it goes...

Soul is God, and not subject to death, nor can it be found in a substance that was not made.
