sooo....i hate to get this personal. but i asked a question about how one should change their life after back surgery..and one suggestion was that an active sex life was not really going to be healthy. i have had back surgery..and i have had sex since then...not a profound amount..but a lot...i dont have pain afterwards...maybe a little before hand if i had just woken up. but is there a real danger from having sex? i know heavy lifting is out, and twisting. but what about sex? or biking? or roller coasters? i dont really have pain after doing any of these things. Maybe a little soreness in the back..but thats it.

I don't believe sex is going to cause a serious problem to your back. I think it's good exercise. The best way to find out is to ask your medical doctor. I know what may be an embarrassing question, but only the doctor can give you a straight answer.
