There's a bit of a difference. I mean Jesus was a Jew. The reason that the Jewish leadership rejected Jesus was that they saw him as a threat to their power and feared that he would bring negative attention to all Jews from the Roman authorities. Their fears weren't completely senseless since Rome was scared of a Jewish uprising and later destroyed the Temple as punishment no more than 40 years after Jesus died.
Furthermore, Christianity began as a Jewish sect. All of the first Christians were Jews and they had many debates about whether or not to allow gentiles to become Christians and whether said gentils would have to be circumcised and follow Jewish dietary laws and social customs.
As far as I know Muhammad was neither Jewish nor Christian at any time. Muhammad may have had great respect for the teachings of Moses and Jesus, but he was not raised in either of those religions. Historically, the split between Jews and Christians is really more relative to the split between Shia and Sunni Muslims.
Jesus is believed the be the fulfillment of the promises that God made the Jews. Jews do not believe this, and I don't know if Mohammed claimed to be the fulfillment of the promises that God made the Jews, either. For Christians, the prophecy has already been fulfilled and the covenant has been sealed by Jesus, so why would God need to send Mohammed? Or Joseph Smith? Or any other prophet?

Absolutely NOT and that is a very uneducated question to the highest degree.
First, there has never been ANY predictions of Muhammad's birth or his status as a god or Savior. There were over 50 prophecies about the last 24 hours of Christ's life by itself, not to mention all of the others throughout His life.
Second, Jews rejected Jesus not for his teachings of which they could find no fault but because of his divinity. Muhammad is rejected by Christians because of his teachings which go directly against the Bible and God's laws.
Third, Jesus was rejected for what He was, Muhammad is rejected for what he wasn't.

i do no longer see parallels. Jews reject Jesus because of the fact they have not got self belief that he's the Messiah approximately whom they have had prophecies for hundreds of years in the previous. They assume the Messiah to be a Jew and to come again as a King to repair the rustic to its glory and to convey a clean kingdom in the worldwide. Christians have usually used Jesus because of the fact the Jewish Messiah that became into estimated to come again so as that they do no longer assume all and diverse, different than Jesus to come again returned to repair Earth to its glory and produce the Heavenly Kingdom. So Christians' rejection of Mohammed has no longer something to do with Jews rejecting Jesus because of the fact Christians in no way estimated yet another prophet besides.

** Christians, do you see the parallels between your rejection of Muhammad and the Jews rejection of Jesus? **
Yes, however the rituals and traditions of men are pervasive.
Ishmael and Issac are brothers from the same father, what is there to be rejected in truth, nothing.
The Quran 3: 84
Say: " We believe in God, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ismael, Isaac, Jacob, and The Tribes, and in The Books given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to God do we bow our will in Peace".
The Creator is one.

Sadly I see a greater parallel between all the Abrahamic religions and hate/discrimination/violence. I'll gladly pick a God that is truly a God of peace, love and friendship over a God of hate any day. It's a shame people use religion to scapegoat and justify their flaws rather than take responsibility for themselves and their actions living in peace/balance with the world rather than stirring the pot up more than it already is!

When Jesus (PBUH) returns for the second time almost all Christians will reject him because he doesn't fit into there mold!
When Jesus (PBUH) returns for the second time he will be preaching within a mosque!
Jesus (PBUH) and Muhammad (PBUH) have something in common, and that commonality is, there is only one God!
It's the inhabitants of Earth that have differences and refuse to live in "Unity".

Jesus died and rose again, gave the Holy Spirit, that is God's Spirit, to validate His message. He brought spiritual birth, forgiveness, and new life. He is now at the right hand of God.
Mohammed claimed Jesus was just a prophet, and died. He awaits the final judgement. (Actually he is strictly speaking a blasphemer against Christ if Christ's claims are true.)

I don't think christians rejected Muhammad at all, they just don't really believe in him or show any expression towards him although Jews(not all, just some) show resentment and more expression towards Jesus and his teachings though I also don't think they rejeced him, they just don't really believe either.

Aren't you going to detail them for us? In order to answer your question, it helps to know if the parallels I see are the same as the parallels YOU see.

No I do not. You will have to show us some time. At least at one time the Israeli nation was following God.
BUT
Mohammad
NEVER
did follow God.
I do
NOT
accept either Judaism or the god of Muhammad. For the God of whom I serve, is one who is alive today, He enabled me through Jesus Christ to live free from sin. I have no guilty conscious, God supplies everyone of my
NEEDS,
and he gives me things I want. Have to go library about to close.
