Sounds like he could have a form of conjunctivitis. Such infections include pink eye etc.... Honestly none of us here on answers can see his eye and we cant diagnose it. Green goop is usually a sign of an infection. I would recommend taking him to an after hours clinic because he needs some meds for it if it is infected. I wouldn't wait to see a doctor about it because he wont be very comfortable. Whatever you do don't touch it unless you are cleaning it with sterilized water and wash your hands after and try to stop him from touching it so it doesn't spread.

Is it a blood vessel? If he's rubbing his eyes lots the veins in them specially circumstances get contaminated. If he's sufficiently previous you may ask him if his eyes harm or are they itchy. in the event that they are itchy he must be allergic to a minimum of a few thing like pets, pollen or mildew. If it rather is it then it is going to pass away on it very own as quickly as the reaction stops. attempt to maintain an eye fixed on it and in case you get too nervous you may call his familiar practitioner and ask approximately it.

That is definitely an eye infection. Use warm and cool wet compresses, change and wash all towels, pillowcases, etc...

He does need to be seen by a pediatrician or eye doctor asap for antibiotic ointment or drops.

In the meantime, do use the compresses to alleviate the discomfort. Do NOT allow him to rub!

Sounds like he may have pink eye, but hard to be sure. Clean it frequently to get rid of the discharge, by wiping outside the eye with a wet cloth. Do NOT attempt to put anything in his eye. He needs to see a doctor to make sure it is from pink eye and not an eye injury. If it's not painful, it may be able to wait till Monday, but if it were me, I'd find a walk-in clinic.

This could be a number of things but it is probably just a stye.Do not rub the eye or blink repeatedly. It may go away on its own but antibiotics will heal it a little faster.A family practice doctor will be fine and not a specialist

Get yourself to a pharmacy if your doc is closed. The phahrmacist would need to ask a few more questions about they eye, like whether or not it is itchy or has a gritty felling. You should be able to get some drops or ointment to sort it without going to the doctor.

From one parent to another we've been here before.

Clean his eye with cooled boiled water & cotton wool. Sweep gently from the inside near the nose to the outside of the eye.

Use a different piece of cotton wool for each eye to avoid cross contamination. It sounds like he has conjunctivitis, just go to the doctors as soon as you can as he will probably need eye drops.

Conjunctivitis or similar eye infection.

warm/ wet rag compress...keep cleaning the muck away.\\
dont allow the other eye to be contaminated. it can likely waitti monday but most urgent cares are open on the weekend and are capable of dealing with this.

If there is pain associated with it go to the emergency room. If there is no pain, go to your local drug store and buy an eye wash and keep the eye clean until you can get an appointment.
