I checked the freon levels using a kit I bought at the auto supply store, and it reads fully charged. What else could be the problem?

Thanks for all the suggestions ...
The low side freon read at 110 and that was marked on the store bought gauge "do not add more freon" guess i'm gonna be paying a visit to a mechanic before it gets unbearable

Broke fan belt?
Faulty relay?
Bad switch?
Slipping clutch?
Blown fuse?
Seized pump?
Faulty radiator fan?
Blend door stuck?

There are many more possibilities.

You need to get high side and low side readings. Having freon in a system is like saying my car won't run but it's full of gas. The compressor may not be working check and see if the clutch engages would be a good place to start. Belt broke, fuse blown, A faulty high side or low side switch could be the problem. Might be time to take it to a garage you trust, before the real hot weather starts.

What I would do is UN plug the cycling switch and get a jumper wire and see if the compressor will turn when you jump it , That is turn A/C on take the wire and jump the connection if the compressor turners you have a bad switch, check it out If it does not turn could be the compressor good luck
