The body builders you see on steroids use them for years and in much vaster quantities then they will admit to. If you take them any change will only be very short term. There are many health risks associated with steroids. Other side effects are uncontrollable anger "Roid rage" and they make you go bald. Also can interfere with the below the belt department in your love life.

There must be 6 questions like this a week on answers, I try to post an answer to all of them, in the hope that I might convince one or two of you lunatics not to do it! In the UK at least no steroids can or should be available without a doctor's prescription. They may not be illegal to take, but they do indicate a head in the sand mentality!

It is fascinating to read the reassurances that there are no risks from anabolic steroids, displayed on sites that sell them. They have presumably never had a relative have an early stroke or heart attack.

Side effects of anabolic steroids include : raising blood pressure, raising cholesterol, (both of which increase cardiovascular disease), physical damage to the heart itself, premature baldness, liver damage, the formation of breast tissue in males, liver damage, impotence, shrinking of the testicles and infertility. Women can become hairy, develop a deep voice, and growth can be stunted in adolescents. They also increase both aggression and depression.

So if you would like to spend your life as a depressed, short bald guy with small testicles, boobs and impotence who has an heart attack, this is the way for you!

steroids are not the magic beans that the uneducated media makes them out to be. even with anabolic or androgenic steroid use the caloric intake must be consistent and sufficient to provide enough nutrients for growth. I have guided people for almost a decade on the proper use and administration of steroids and one thing that I have found true is that if you can't gain muscle mass with out steroids then results when on steroids will be minimal at best. gaining muscle mass is all about the diet, going to the gym is by far the easy part.

DO NOT TAKE STEROIDS.

They completely screw up your body's hormones etc, and seriously mess up your liver.

If you want to gain weight (muscle mass), eat high-protein food and lots of healthy carbohydrates, and use a dietary supplement from a good sports shop. Get yourself down the gym, and see both a trainer and a sports nutritionist to plan things out,

Steroids and performance drugs are for losers who haven't got the balls to do something the hard way.

Yes! Very dangerous to take steroids for more than 10 days unless under medical supervision for an illness. I was on massive doses of steroids while having chemo and they have absolutely kn@ckered my body up. Don't do it.

If you are body building then it is possible to gain extra muscle mass with the right diet and training, testosterone is the most natural one to use but it does increase your aggression factor so be careful. It can cause kidney and liver damage if used for long periods trouble is once you feel the benefits of extra strength you may not want to stop so think carefully about what you do.

If you take the steroid shoot once every 4months is ok. But remember your skin could clear in a week and could get worst than ever in a month.
