I take Phospagen HP by EAS and find it to be an effective product. It has definitely help my strength. The EAS product is reasonably priced and already comes with a carbohydrate based uptake system.
Don't get the Phosphagen Elite. That is expensive and I did not find it worked any better than the HP.
I would also disagree with the comment "there is no better creatine product". Any of the "Supplements" you buy in a health food store ARE NOT regulated by the FDA. In various studies/analysis, it has been shown that some products contain much less of whatever it is they claim to contain. For example, capsules containing the supplement Glucosamine and Chondroiton. Some packages make claims to carry a certain amount of milligrams per capsule. Lab analysis has shown they contain much less. This is just an example. The point is, some brands of supplements are more reliable than others, with regard to purity and content of their ingredients.

There is no real "better" creatine product. I personally prefer creatine monohydrate products because they're cheap and I respond very well to it. I don't bloat or get gassy like some people do. If you aren't a very good responder to creatine monohydrate, then you should try creatine ethyl ester (CEE). The thing with creatine monohydrate is that it requires you to "load" (It really depends on how fast you want results). A lot of it gets turned to creatinine (waste product) because of your stomach acids. Due to the ester groups attached to the creatine, it allows for it to survive your stomach acid and more of it will be absorbed. This also allows for you to skip the "loading" phase. It can also decrease the negative symptoms such as bloating and gassiness. Also, with the loading phase on creatine monohydrate, if you're in no hurry, you don't need to load cause your muscles will be saturated with it soon enough, but if you want results right away, do the loading phase. Just make sure you get the purest creatine product (pharmaceutical grade).

Creatine does not work for everyone. Including myself. There are the very few people that are lucky to get that muscle size and weight. BUT everyone should have the strength and stamina. Right now I am not getting any weight or size (which is ok). But I still get the strength most def. Just stick with the one you got. My recommendation is checking out AST Creatine Monohydrate

Pretty much any Creatine Monohydrate is fine. The only products you would want to avoid are the mixtures. You can better determine how much creatine you are getting with a powder or tablet that's not already mixed with it's own Kool-Aid. You'll need a sugary drink to take it with, sprite, juice, kool-aid. Also...you'll need to be very well hydrated....creatine draws fluid into the muscle and therefore you'll need to hydrate the rest of your body. Please don't take caffeine or metabolism boosters while on creatine..it just defeats the purpose. I just can't stress that enough.
Oh..here's a hint. You'll hear about the "loading phase"....it's a really good way to get you to buy lots and lots of creatine. Your body already makes creatine....for more efficient lifting sessions...you'll only need to take the "maintenance" dose from day one. According to the top rate Human Kinesiologist that I know.....the loading phase will just give you some pretty expensive pee.
I'm sure you'll hear lots of debate on that item...but I used to sell supplements, too (back in the day)....got commission on all the jars I sold.
Read up on it....don't just listen to the sales people!
