I'm thinking about getting my lip done for my birthday. What's the procedure in getting it pierced and is there anyway to numb the pain? Even so how much does it hurt?

It is a needle that is jabbed through your lip. No pain killers are usually applies. It is over really fast so it isn't really needed. They then attach the jewelry and pull it back through then secure it. It is going to swell and pus and leak some ugly stuff. Keep it clean is the most important thing. Clean it as many times a day as you can. Ask the piercer any question you have.. and don't forget you can always walk away if the place looks nasty or you change your mind

it's a pinch, and it might be sore later on
you dont need to numb your lip because it isnt that bad
the piercer will mark it up, ask you if its where you want it
pierce it with a hollow needle and slide the jewelry through
don't forget to tip
and i've never had a problem getting a job, this is the 21st century and some people need to catch up before they answer

I don't have a pierced lip and never will. It's just the perfect opportunity to get an infection...isn't that fun? No. Don't get it done. It will be painful and you will regret it.

Don't pierce your lip. You will have a harder time getting a job, and people won't take you seriously. You will regret it.

it doesn`t hurt a bit...when i had mine done, i didn`t even realize the piercer had already finished, it was so quick & painless!!!

u can get major infections from that.
