Okay i'm about 5'7 and weigh about 129, and i personally think that's fat. So i need a quick and easy way to lose at least 20 pounds or maybe 10. I need something that can fit into my daily routines, and can help me lose weight quick. I don't want a diet pill, i just want a diet that i can follow through out the summer and that can make and keep me looking great!
Any Tips? Or Diets?

Well you are deffinetly NOT fat! at all!
Maybe toning up would work better for you?
don*t foccus so much on how you weigh but more on how you look. if you spend an hour in the gym everyday for a month and work every part of your body you would be completely toned up. Toned looks better then skinny. But if you really want to lose some weight deffinetly running is your best way to do it that works every part of your body! And do intervals when running, start out walking then increase to intense running then to jogging then back to walking ect. mix it up! because that keep your body working the entire time and you burn more calories that way, you don*t want your body to get used to the workout because then you won*T burn nearly as much. Deffinetly do not try one of those crash diets where you stop eating. if you stop eating your body will think your straving it and will store all the fat it can and any little food you put into it will gain twice as much weight, you just want to eat enough to give yourself energy. When you workout your body is burning so much energy that it has no choice but to take your fat and use it as energy. So eat the right foods watch your portions and tone up. muscle burns more fat for every pound of muscle you have you burn an extra 50 calories a day so toning up is a better way to do it and it looks much sexier and if you do that you might notice you would end up weighing more but thats only because muscle weighs more so dont focus on the number on the scale that means nothing. It*s how you look. Good luck with your summer goal i just finished mine within 2 months just trying to get rid of the last few pounds and running in intervals works amazing! Good luck!!!

I'm 5'7 (woman) and I'm 125 and think I'm a few lbs heavy myself. I'd like to be 120. I was 140 about a month ago, but have since lost the weight. If you want the program I'm using (it's not a drug or pill, just workout dvds) It costs about $50, but you'll be fit by summer for sure! Good luck email me for the link it's too long to paste on here. mkaaw@yahoo.com

no-way is that fat!! I'd envy anyone with your weight :). but anyway, eat high protein and high fibre foods so your body takes longer to use up the energy. don't eat processed foods. they are high in salt and simple carbs (your body uses the energy quickly). eat complex carbs and eat when you're hungry or you'll crave.

try to mostly have natural sugars (i.e from fruit, but not much bananas because they are a simple carb. apples are good) and after a while you'll crave less. theres loads more. i have a diet which a nutritionist made. it's about losing weight and improving your digestive system, without counting calories.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I'm not so healthy, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend doing it my way, but if you don't have hypoglycemia problems and can stave off hunger cravings, what I usually do is just not eat during the day at work. I work 8 hour shifts and sip on sugar-free hot cocoa and sometimes tomato soup. Then when I get home, I know I am hungry so I try and fill up on vegetables and fruit. I don't eat regular meals or anything, so that might mess up your metabolism, but it works for me when it comes to losing weight.

If you have been fighting the battle of the bulge and have tried every fad diet out there, give this free diet a try. It is based on sound nutrition and requires you to use common sense with not only your food choices but also your expectations. Fad diets, that enable you to lose large amounts of weight in a short amount of time, never really work. They will result in a yo-yo effect which is a downward spiral that you want to avoid at all costs. It involves quick weight loss followed by an even greater weight gain and wreaks major havoc on your metabolism. It will make it harder for you to lose weight with all future dieting attempts.

Free Diet Do's:

Eat small, frequent meals throughout the day

Each meal should contain protein, fat and carbohydrates

Reduce intake of sugar and high starch carbohydrates (bread, rice, potatoes and pasta) at night

Increase intake of fruits, vegetables and fiber

Free Diet Helpful Hints:

One of the most important keys to following a successful nutritional program is preparation. Keep healthy food available for each meal to prevent simply eating what is convenient. Give your free diet some thought and plan out what you want to eat for each meal and snack during the day. Prepare foods in bulk, if necessary, for each week. Also remember that the way in which you prepare foods is just as important as the food that you choose. Choose baking, broiling and grilling over frying and stay away from rich sauces.

Free Diet Food Choices:

PROTEIN SOURCES : Chicken , Turkey , Fish, and Lean Red Meats, Low Fat Dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, and egg whites)

CARBOHYDRATE SOURCES : Vegetables, Fruits, and Grains

FAT SOURCES : Olive Oil, Canola Oil, Olives, Nuts, and Avocado

FREE DIET

Breakfast:

2 Burritos-1 whole egg and 3 additional egg whites, scrambled with ¼ cup shredded mozzarella. Divide up to make two burritos. You can use either corn or flour tortillas.

Snack:

½ turkey sandwich on whole wheat with lettuce, tomato and mustard. One piece of fruit.

Lunch:

6-8 ounces of grilled chicken, turkey, fish or lean red meat with a large baked potato or ¾ cup of cooked rice.

Snack:

Choice of Balance Bar or 8-ounce cup of low-fat yogurt/cottage cheese. You may have 1 piece of fruit with the yogurt or cottage cheese.

Dinner:

6-8 ounces of grilled chicken, turkey, fish or lean red meat with 1 cup steamed vegetables and large salad with low-fat dressing.
