I already made her a picture frame in woodshop, but can't do anything to it because it has varnish on it and it's all routered and pretty, but I sort of want to make something a little more nice for her. She really deserves it. I'm only 12, but I can probably do some things. I have tons of art supplies, and I have alot of woods and stuff around my house, like maybe I could do something with plants or something?

If she likes plants and cooking, you could make her a little herb garden. All you'd have to do is make a little wooden box (you could even decorate it) and plant some herb seeds in it. This could sit in her kitchen so she could use fresh herbs for cooking.

It is the thought that counts. Make her a card, I know my mom loves them and saves everyone I have ever given her. If you can, put a picture in the frame, of you and her. Another simple idea is make IOU cards. Put things on there such as "IOU one day of vacuuming all the carpets" or "IOU a week of feed *insert animal (pet) or siblings/family name here*. Be creative and come up with some ideas, from experience my mother loves these, cause they give her a very needed break from and everyday service. Perhaps you could make tomorrow a day where you will do everything for your mom, and she has to do nothing. Just some ideas, but whatever you chose I am sure your mother will love it!!!

My Moither always told me that the greatest gift I could give her was to sacrifice some of my time. She wanted me to make time to clean her house or work in the yard or things that she was just to tired or just didn't like to do..something that would give her a few minutes to read a book or whatever she wanted to do. That doesn't take any money or special talent..just time and energy.

Cave her name on something. Moms really really like it when you feel shes special and can say it and really mean it with a hug.
