I don't know if there would be alot of microbes or pathogens in raw meat from an animal. But I've heard that eating live plants is much healthier, because they still have all of their enzymes intact.

I agree with the other guy, once you kill something you aren't eating something alive...fresh and raw, true, but not alive!
AND, true, the raw meat factor has issues that will affect your health, it's possible if absolutely necessary such as trapped in snow, or the forest, but you will probably end up with stomach issues just a little while later which is probably worse than not eating anything at all. But usually the USDA, wants everyone 2 cook then eat their food!
But by the way, eeeeuh! I'm vegetarian, so I always prefer vegetables or nuts and berries anyhow! And of course, once you pick a plant, it's not ALIVEanymore, just fresh from the vine or ground. If they stay in the ground, then they are technically alive and still using sunlight to grow.

Well let me start by saying that a plant and an animal are two different living things thats for sure and number two, you are asking if we as humans can eat a live animal.Truthfully I wouldnt think so because meat goes thru so much before humans do eat it but than you think back in the cavemen days and they did it.. So I dont know.
