or you can find it at a local car audio shop or maybe an auto parts store.

Yes. I have a 99 bonneville with a sidepost battery. I install car stereo systems and if u need help contact me. I have 2 large amps so I have a 0/1 gauge wire with a stinger ring terminal hooked right to my +. Somewhat newer pontiacs should all be the same or similar. On your + post after you remove it there should be a few spacers made of plastic that can be removed to make space for the O-ring terminal, then connect right back up and your done. Please be sure you have a fuse holder with the right fuse amp rating within 1 foot of your battery to protect your car battery and other components. O-ring connects to +post, then within 6inchs to a foot have a fuse holder with the right fuse, then your power wire which is powering your amp goes from the other end of the fuse holder directly to your amp. You can also buy new battery terminals and reconnect all your cars power wires to them but this will cost more and I dont recommend this to a novice if you are one.

Parts stores should carry large ring-type terminals for your application and just solder the connector to your power wire for the amp
