She told our 2 severely disabled parents to enter a home and give her any remaining $ they have, or else she'd disappear. When they refused, she disappeared. (They live with a caregiver and I live far away)

I work with families like that and that is abuse! Hopefully she will just stay away (sorry) and leave your parents alone. She has many issues.

Oh my god, how could a daughter do that to her parents... your parents must've been hurt by her disappearance... Since you're living far away, try calling your parents and be a REAL daughter... your sister's so selfish and ungrateful... after your parents raise her and did everything for her, this is how she'll repay them!? It's a good thing you're not like that... more power to you! ~this is just my opinion~

The scary part is she will probably be back to try another tactic when she sees this one didnt work. Be prepared for that. I would talk to your parents and have them agree it is not in their best interests to let this sister in their house unless a police officer is present and then make sure the caregiver knows to not let her in the house.
People like this sister make me paranoid (for the people I love)
