Well, I don't want to be rude... but your body gives off a very distinctive smell in the area that is covered by your underwear, and this smell appeals to dogs... not to mention some people. I lived with a girl who had a pugapoo, and he chewed through both her underwear and my underwear several times... try putting your underwear, especially ones you've worn, in a place the dog can't reach them... like a hamper with a lid.... gee... i hope the dog isn't licking and chewing the underwear while you are wearing it.

Because dogs like to lick themselves and others private areas.. even clean underwear still have the scent of your nether regions on them, dogs lick, smell and eat that sort of thing and thats why dogs like underwear. I have known many dogs to go digging in the dirty laudry basket and eat the crotches out of underwear, especially during "that time of the month" its best to keep your clothes in a laundry basket with a lid or behind a closed door to prevent this. If the dog eats the underwear (dont laugh Ive seen it before) they could get a blockage so keep dirty (and clean) undies out of their reach because they have a different idea of a snack than we humans do! lol

Well, they come in contact with the parts that dogs like to sniff on each other and on people. You should take care to pick them up because some dogs will actually eat them. I see under ware surgically removed from dogs on a regular basis! This is not a surgery that you want to have to pay for.

Dogs like strong smells. We make strong smells in our - ahem- crotch area. Puppies will often chew underwear if they can get a hold of it. keep your underwear out of the dogs reach. Underwear is expensive to replace, plus you don't want your dog to eat the fabric and get ill.

mine does that. if we leave it on the bathroom floor while in the shower, you'll come out to find your undies gone! and in the living room floor. it is probably because it has your scent on it. i think it's gross, but oh well. i just have to make sure i put them in the hamper before he get's to them.
