My boyfriend and I were together 6 months and everything was going amazingly well, we were so in love, then he dumps me out of the blue. Things were getting serious (you know when you get sensitive to the other person, little things hurt your feelings) and he got freaked out. He begged for me back that night. Everything was going really well again and he dumped me randomly a week later. I later found out from a mutual friend he was telling people he found it overwhelming to feel so strongly about someone and it scared him.
He begged for me back again, sounded really positive this time. Said he was 110% commited to me and i was the best thing to happen to him and he was sorry it ever happened.
Now 2 months later he's just broken up with me again. Basically for the same reasons. He cried when he did it. Admittedly he has a LOT of stuff going on in his life right now, worries. But people are saying a guy won't dump you if he loves you.

Greetings,

Getting dumped once is a good enough reason to leave him behind and start looking for someone who really loves you. Don't be a sucker to get fished again. Life is short and there are plenty of other fish in the sea.

Good day,

well first of all you don't say how old the both of you are and that does have a huge factor in relationships. Sounds to me like he does love you and is probably very frightened of his feelings. Perhaps it's the first time he's ever really felt this way about someone. And yes he will drop you even while he's loving you, while he's walking away in tears, because to someone who is scared of what he's feeling, walking away to him is easier.

Sounds like he is afraid of commitment. I can understand being freaked out by the overwhelming feelings of REALLY loving someone. After the 3rd time, though, you have to assess your relationship and your priorities. Even if you love him, why would you expose yourself to such an obviously unhealthy relationship.

My advice is to start dating other people. If he works out his issues and you are still single, then maybe give him another chance. If you find someone who is willing to REALLY commit to you, then grab them and let him go.

Your hapiness comes first!
