Just a few examples regarding the guy who says "We have just 10 years to avert a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet into a tailspin.":
He & the Tipster live in a 10,000 square foot mansion with 20 rooms & 8 bathrooms in Nashville, TN. (Wonder what THAT light bill looks like!)
That is, when he isn't hanging for a few days in Washington, DC in his 4,000 square foot home in Arlington, VA (just a small place for quick trips to the seat of power, don'tcha know).
In neither home does he take advantage of using electricity produced by wind power. Utility companies in both cities offer this option at an extra cost of 2-3 cents per kilowatt hour. In addition to being a fraud, maybe Algae the Green Guy is cheap, too?
Ol' Al owns quite a large chunk of stock in Occidental Petroleum - an oil company that has been mired for years in controversy over oil drilling in ecologically sensitive areas.
I could go on but you get the idea.

The "inconvenient truth" is that your obvious bigotry toward Gore doesn't allow you to be objective. Perhaps Gore's homes are environmental disasters - but perhaps he's doing whatever he can to change those things. It sounds to me like you're just jealous because he's got more money than you do.
ALL of us can do LITTLE things to help protect the fragile ecological balance between man, plants and animals who must co-exist on this planet if we're going to survive.
"Little things" such as recycling all your cardboard, metal, aluminum, plastic, telephone books, paper, glass, steel, newsprint, magazines, used cooking oil, computer parts, asphalt, wood, and foil could help make a big difference, but it's probably too "inconvenient" for you to do all that.
"Little things" like trading in your $70,000 gas-guzzling SUV for a compact, fuel-efficient vehicle that uses an alternative fuel source could make a big difference, but you probably would find it "inconvenient" to ride in such a tiny car that 'cramps' your style.
"Little things" like using solar panels on your roof, not spreading chemicals on your handsome front lawn just to kill those pesky dandelions, or using a cloth bag when you shop instead of trying to decide between "paper or plastic' could make a big difference, but it might be just a little too "inconvenient" for you to do any of that.
I could go on, but you get the idea....

If Al Gore sold all his stocks in oil companies, didn't burn an ounce of fossil fuel, and lived in a cardboard box instead of a mansion, what does that make him? What does that make you?
Why does it matter what he does? What are YOU doing?
You either believe that Global Warming is real or it isn't. Why do you care if Al Gore, your neighbor, or you cousin Louie are doing anything about it? If you don't believe it's real, then Al Gore is doing the "right" thing by owning stocks in oil companies, flying air planes, and living in a large mansion. You might even want to praise him for living in the extravagant lifestyle that he has. As far as him getting weathy, that's a good thing too since only fools would buy into his message and he's getting rich of them and not you.
Here's where that argument falls flat. It's not how big the house is, it's if you turn of the light off when you're not in the room. Not all electricity is equal. Al Gore uses more carbon-free nuclear power than the average household despite the much higher overall electrical usage.
If you are wealthy, you live in a bigger house, use more electricity, and own more stuff. You also do more, make movies that people actually will PAY to watch instead of just the lame stuff all over YouTube.
If you own an oil company, then you can remove people who don't care about drilling in sensitive places. You can't do that if you are just some guy from the outside.
If you believe in Al Gore's message, than it good that he's doing all the flying for all of us and educating people about Global Warming. It good that he's got websites, a movie, and speaking tours so that's he's doing everything he can to get people to be aware of the problem so that we can get enough political will do something about the problem. Keep into perspective that if it take one person to fly around the world to stop everyone else from putting out even more greenhouse gases, it becomes a good carbon investment.

So does this come from Rush, Hannity, Carlson etc? Did you know that W couldn't make money as a Texas oil man in the 80's? Or that robots may be stealing your luggage? In other words, unless you have personally done the research, don't believe all you hear. There is a practice in politics called the Big Lie. The more outrageous, the better. The truth doesn't matter as much as constant repetition of talking points.

What are your sources? How do you know his home isn't solar for example? And regardless, speculating on his electricity bill and investments is kind of irrelevant. Just cause you might or might not like Gore doesn't change the possibility and or probability of global warming being a serious issue. Also the turnaround relies heavily on legislation that are unpopular with large industrial offenders globally. That's maybe where you should take up your questions about who gets rich from what.

I saw a picture of him in The Onion using a blowtorch to melt glaciers in Antartica. I am glad we have you and The Onion to uncover the most important frauds this little orb is harboring.

I think he should retrofit his homes to their maximum potential efficiency and buy green electricity for them and sell his stock in any fossil fuel related companies if he doesn't want to look hypocritical, maybe he could go on MTV cribs to prove he did it too lol.

*laugh* I'd love to believe that global warming is a fraud.
Be so much simpler than actually having to deal with it.
