NEVER ever is violence necessary!!! Communication is the essential key to a marriage and honesty. Do not raise a hand or foot to your spouse or signifigant other. It only leads to other problems. first of all vilonce is never good in any situation.....what do u mean start right away or until she gives u a reason.........if u r in a relationship the best thing to do is to talk things out instead of hitting ur partner......violence is never the answer.....if u ever do lay a hand on her its considered abuse......why would u want to abuse a person? it isnt right......u r both adults n should figure out how to solve it without violence........marriage is all about compromise

Unless she is phyiscally violent towards you, or extremely abusive towards your children (especially phyiscally), then it would be a necessary tactic for self-defense in both cases. (You can even put a spy cam to capture these actions as evidence to the police if you don't want to get charged with anything.) Otherwise, I would strongly advise against it.
