Try ING Direct or Emigrant Direct. These have great savings rates.

they tend to have rules, the more you put in the more interest you will recieve, so most banks are about the same when you look at it this way.
I try to view things in a more balanced way, what is my money being invested in?
I use an ethical bank - co-op in UK but you will find a good ethical bank in the US or Switzerland.
They give competitive rates but you can sleep at night knowing your money is not going towards war or rouge states etc etc.

Go to www.emigrant.com , it's a FDIC insured bank on-line...they don't set a lot of minimums and stuff and pay over 5%. You transfer money to them from your local checking account and then when you need it , you transfer it back to your local checking account. All this is done over the internet once you setup an account. The security on trasactions is great.

I use ING. same as above, online banking, fdic insured, tied to your checking acct. Transfer money in and out. rate is 6% with no min.
