Your getting dehydrated. You need to include water before, during or after. You may also try taking a B vitamin before drinking, but include lots of water.

'Charley-horses' is the first place your body targets when you are dehydrated. Drink lots of water! I recommend purified water and Mineral Water mixed 50/50. The Mineral Water is going to put back into the muscles the minerals they are losing on a daily basis. You must drink beyond your thirst to get the benefits of hydration. I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day. Realize that exercise, ambient temperature, and state of health affect the water needs of your body. In the evening take a hot bath with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts and soak for 30 minutes. Afterwards, if you have something shaped like a cylinder and made out of hard material (think of a large rolling pin you would use for pizza dough or something) place it under your leg and push down and roll it back and forth...this should massage the spasms out of your leg. It will hurt while you're doing it, but more so the type of pain that actually feels good, in the long run. Afterwards massage an analgesic cream into the area. You will start feeling better very quickly. Take 500mg of calcium and magnesium every evening. This will help stop the cramp

by consuming all that alcohol you actually dehydrate your body which cause your muscles to cramp try drinking more liquids before going out on a binge or hose down some orange juice or water to help the cramps but I do have to say that you are ruining your liver I know cause i worked with alcoholics when they were in the final stages of liver failure and that is not a pretty way to die

I'm guessing that alcohol drains your body of electrolytes, potassium, and sodium, messing up that all-important balance. Remember the girl who died in the Wii contest from water intoxication, which drained her of electrolytes? I know bananas are high in potassium, and you may try to eat one after drinking, although that doesn't sound very appetizing -- or drink Gatorade or PowerAde that has all the necessary electrolytes. I would think you need to do something because your heart is a muscle, too. Maybe you should ask a doctor.

Well, the type of shoes you are wearing may be a very big deal.Synthetics have taken over shoes and I have yet to find any with a HUG type COZY feel anymore. They ALL seem to be Hard and MEAN to your feet and this is VERY BAD for your entire ANATOMY! Then you have your NUTRITION to take into account.Your potassium may be down and the alcohol drinks up your Vitamins like C,E & A. Keep in mind ALL VITAMINS are NOT GOOD FOR YOU.Many are made with SYNTHETIC VITAMINS and this will not benefit your system ever!! You may see a combination of things beating your system down,it's rare to be only ONE thing. All I have mentioned may be the Combo kicking your caves the misery.Vitamin water isn't good either if its loaded with sugar and Synthetics. This is found in so many things we think are Normal foods and beverage, thought to be good for us.SYNTHETIC CHEMICS ARE NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE!!

If you have been drinking a long period of time in excess, you could be having liver damage problems that affect your muscles.
But it is probably something less serious, like dehydration or calcium deficient. Excess use of alcohol causes dehydration and body fluid in balance. Suggest you drink a sports drink before retiring to bed. You can create additional problems if you take pain relievers with alcohol. Your liver could be heavily damaged or it could even cause death. I personally have seen people accidentally kill themselves by taking pain relievers when they high levels of alcohol in their blood system.
If you don't mind spending a few bucks, you may also want to invest in some amino acid supplements.
Let me know if this helps.
also you may want to visit WebMD.
