They are so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ALWAYS wanted one :) It says hamster but I mean Chinese Dwarf Hamster Consider where your hamster cage is in the house and how well it will protect your Chinese Dwarf Hamster against extremes of temperature. Keep your hamster cage away from doors, direct sunlight, and pets or very small children. Lastly, make sure your hamster is in the temperature range of 60 – 90 degrees. Too cold or too hot a room could affect its health. Hamster Cage Bedding The type of flooring you choose for your hamster cage is important – as a general rule for Chinese Dwarf Hamsters, always use aspen, pine, or other soft woods. Cedar can cause respiratory problems and even death. Hamster Cage Cleaning You should clean your hamster cage once a week – change the bedding and wipe away any wet spots. Once a month, you should clean the whole of the cage with mild detergent and dry it completely before replacing your hamster. Hamster Cleaning Never give your Chinese Dwarf Hamster a bath, no matter how dirty it gets! Instead, use chinchilla sand, which can be bought at pet stores. Chinese Dwarf Hamsters love to roll in it and it will help remove excess oils from its fur. I think u hav everything Hamster Food And Water Despite their small size, Chinese Dwarf Hamsters are big eaters! Like many hamsters, they thrive on different types of pellets, seeds, dried fruit, and vegetables – all of which are available from pet stores. Chinese Dwarf hamsters need a staple diet of seeds, pellets, and grains, all of which can be bought in pet stores. Change your hamster’s food every 24 hours, nd refill their water every day.
