what ever happened to jimmy spencer i havent heard much about him lately i heard he was on speed channel but i live in the woods no cable tv and direct tv doesnt get speed channel is he racing anywhere

Yup... he's announcing on the Speed Channel. I was a big Spencer fan... he always went for the gusto. I'm still down on Kurt (the sissy) Busch for wrecking him intentionally, and being stupid enough to say he was going to do it over the radio.

I do know The Jimmy Spencer Fan Club and Website are no longer in operation. Yes He has been on Speedweek and many people wrote in with comments like, "get spencer OFF THE AIR or throttle him down.... too much mouth for too little brain!...." , "Full Throttle: Is SPEED Speeding Away With Jimmy Spencer's Freedom Of Speech?", "Jimmy Spencer lived up to the "true IDIOT of NASCAR" "
He did apologize but he shouldn't have said the things in the first place about the Earnhardts.
I must admit, I always liked the style of driving of Mr.Excitement. An old School driver who helped keep the the thrill in racing. But as all Old Schoolers, there comes a time to step out and let the youth take over.

Yes he's doing the pre and post race shows for Speed Channel.I haven't heard about him racing any where lately. try Speed Channel.com or jayski.com . Go # 24 !!!!

Yes he is with speed channel.The race day program he co host is a good insite show and he has a lot of insight to NASCAR.
