my cat is due do give birth within the next week she is only 8 months old and she is small will she be ok or is this really dangerous?

My cat was about 7 months when she birthed her litter. She had five!!! They were all healthy and all survived. I still have two of them!! They are 12 yrs old now. She will be just fine. Just don't push her into doing anything she isn't ready for. Watch her close and when she gives birth let her do her thing.. They know what to do. It is very cool to watch. But don't worry. She is young, but she will be fine. I would get her fixed up as soon as possible afterwards though!!! At that age, multiple pregnancies could really wear her out and bring her health down!! Just keep an eye on her. She will be fine. Congrats on your expected kitties!!

She is a little young but she should be fine. I recomend that you take the cat to the vet and have some x-rays done when she is close to the 50 day mark to make sure that the babies aren't to big to fit through the birth canal. In that case she will need a c-section. Good Luck

I had a scare a yr in the past while I notion my cat was once pregnant and approximately to provide delivery. We took her to the vet and the vet did not appear too involved. Like any delivery there would be headaches, just like the muddle is not popping out or it is a reached delivery. If your involved approximately it, get your vet worried. Cats like cool, darkish locations to provide delivery. She will be fine. My cat had her first litter and she is a young cat. She is a great momma. Cats give birth between 60 and 70 days if I am not mistaken. My cat had hers at day 63.

My cat was six months old when she got pregnant (got out before I could spay her). She was so small though, and only gave birth to one kitten. Everything was fine.

she should ideally have been a bit older but its too late for that.she will probably do just fine and may have a smaller litter than usual.give her a good diet and get her checked by the vet

no they give birth at any age my cat is only 1year in ahalf and she was pregnat
