google "tbn scandal" and thousands of cons come up one after the other, all taking your money in god's name and running, with christians still defending these wolves
how can an entire network of people still support those who only wish to remove cash from your hands and claim it's to support your god yet be found living the reverse christian life that they tell you is wrong, yet they can live secular and have all what they forbid you to have?

unfortunately, there are thousands upon thousands of people who faithfully follow these prosperity pentecostal and charismatic preachers. it is wrong to say that all of these followers are lacking in the brains dept, many are professional people, i personally know a very well to do doctor who follows this type of teaching.
the thing is....it may seem ludicrous to you and me, but the bottom line is MOST people are looking for answers to life's mysteries, and if there is someone out there who is willing to tell them what they want and need to hear(re finances, healing , the afterlife, etc) and additionally have an awesome "stage show"....alot of people are going to fall for it. these followers are really seeking truth. they are instead being horribly deceived.

Yes am watching that christian programmes, wonderful.
May God bless TBN.
The world hated Christ, so the world will hate you. Just don't try to live the Christian life in your own strength. It's impossible. You have to have the Holy Spirit empowering you. An apple tree doesn't produce fruit by struggle. An apple tree produces fruit because the life of the fruit is in the tree. Read the Bible. It's full of people just like us, with the same flaws, the same weaknesses, and the same God who saw them through and will see you through as well.

What amazes me most is that this stuff is just now coming to life. It was obvious when Jim Baker fell apart, but no one made a lot of racket.
I spent 25-30 years selling to these people and I know about 90% of them today. I would not P on the whole bunch if they were on fire.
The one that you have to look for, besides the ones mentioned in the post, is a man from Indiana named Steve Munsey.

Tragically, there are plenty of people who believe that Benny Hinn really is a messanger of God. However, most of them are elderly, lived in a small town all their lives, have eighth-grade educations, and probably going senile. I doubt that many of Benny Hinn's supporters, though, would even know how to get on the Internet...

I can't speak for everyone but the people I know who listen to them are well educated believers who have read their Bibles and are hungry for more of God. Many are people who either know of someone who has been healed or else have received a healing/miracle themselves. Anyone who denies the reality of healings/miracles is not seeing what God is doing in the church today.
I am not going to make a case for or against any of the people that are mentioned nor am I going to condone living in luxury but I wonder how it is that people who call themselves Christians can be so willing to listen to and participate in slander, gossip, backbiting(see Romans 1:28-32) and not be afraid of breaking the ninth commandment "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor?"
We should all try harder to be slow to speak, be quick to listen and slow to become angry(James 1:19) and ask ourselves questions like these: Do I know 100% for sure that what I am reading is the truth? How credible are the writers of the information that I am reading? Am I in danger of blaspheming the Holy Spirit by saying that miracles and healings done in Jesus' name are of the devil? Do I ignore the behavior of the leaders in my own denomination? Am I 100% sure I am rightly dividing the Scriptures? Do I have all the facts? Am I guilty of judging a servant of the Lord? Am I praying for them?
Peace.

I wonder about the people who support these clowns. How many of them are there really? What are they thinking? Do they think at all?

There's just way too much money to be made, and way too many people willing to be faithful.
