What boats stop right at the south street seaport for a sightseeing cruise? I only found the water taxi, any else?

The person above me is wrong. The Zephyr and The Shark both take off from Pier 16 at the South street Seaport, also The NY Water Taxi does as well.

Not at the south street seaport. For a cruise, you need to go to mid-town, 42nd Street on the west side docks. That's where you'll find Circle Line, the biggest boat tour service in NYC. For boats going to Ellis Island or the Statue of Liberty, you need to go to Battery Park. The only big boats at the Seaport are usually docked there for tourist and don't budge.
