My fiance is stuck in Atlanta and cannot get on a flight because he lost his driver's license! We are supposed to be in a wedding this afternoon! Can't they take some other type of ID? What can we do? HELP!!!!

Must be a Federally acceptable photo ID. Some examples include
Passport (US or foreign), must be valid/current
State issued driver's license or ID card
Military ID card
Permanent Foreign Resident Alien Card (i.e. Green Card)
Certificate of Naturalization and/or Certificate of Citizenship
I doubt they'll accept your Photo CheckCard from your bank. :)

The rule that covers this states it has to be a government issued photo ID. That could include a state driver license, state issued photo IA, passport, military ID, airport ID, or any other ID which clearly indicates who you are. You DO NOT have to have driver license only. Ask to speak to a manager of the airline or TSA manager.

There is another ID process but he will need additional screening. Does he have a military ID, or some other photo ID?
Contact the airport and talk with someone in the TSA about your fiance's situation.

whilst checking your id, they are purely attempting to work out that the call fits that on the boarding bypass and that the image fits. The airlines don't be able to run your motive force's license #. The scanners that they use on the gates purely test the bar codes on the boarding passes as quickly as that's surrendered to the gate brokers.
