ok. so im trying to do the same.
what im going is taking some biotin, it helps to metabolize fats, but it wont do it all on its own. you have to help it along.
so try to watch what you eat, dont starve your self that will make it worse. cut back on your normal calorie intake by 200-500 calrories.
the next step is to create a workout plan that you can do 3-5 times a week, and that you like.
try to get 20-30 mins of cardio workout, which is like bike riding and running. then another thing to help boost your metabolism is push ups. do aobut 3 sets of these. and remember there are 12-15 reps in each set.
then try to do some pilates. i do them and they really help.
if you dont want to spend money on a dvd, just google "pilate moves" and you should get some good workouts.
if you do this, you should be happy with the outcome.
hope this helps!
:D

First you have to cut out any soda, beer, fast food you may be eating. Don't eat any fried food. Try to only eat one heavy meal a day. Eat light all other meals. You will start to lose weight just by doing this, when you feel thirsty drink water, not anything with sugar. When you want to eat something sweet, try some fruit it has natural sugar in it that better for you. You should try to exercise at least a half hour each day (walking or jogging is good). If you can keep this up until your graduation you could lose at least 20lbs or so. Good Luck!

Your BMI is 32.27, which says that you are overweight.
Look at your lifestyle, how often do you exercise?
Do you eat 5 fruit & vegetables a day?
Do you eat a lot of calories per day?
Change one thing a week or every two weeks depending on the amount of time you've given yourself. Perhaps one week cut out take-aways. Then the next week cut out take-aways & chocolate. Then take-aways, chocolate & crisps. Then take-aways, chocolate & crisps with 5 fruit & veg a day etc etc. Then for 2 weeks try & include it all. Exercise aswell. Write out plans of what to do each week.
Don't panic or rush yourself & most of all don't give up. Perseverence is the key to success.
Good luck : )

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
