what are the long term effects of a low grade fever?

I know a high fever over 104F can cause brain damage if it's not treated, but I've had a low grade fever for 4 days now. Can that also do damage?

It's only between 99.2 and 100 with no other symptoms except loss of appetite and general malaise. Acetaminophen is not helping. I'm drinking as much water as I can but even that makes me feel gross. The good part is I've lost a good deal of weight from it, but not the healthy way, I know.

I never have a normal body temperature, always low, not sure about a 'fever?' However I have no long term effects. Not sure why you would take acetaminophen?
