No you wouldn't go to jail, and neither would your boyfriend.
Well, from what I could find, there's no requirement in Indiana to "register" your firearms, with anybody. If you're a gun dealer, there are requirements, or if you have a concealed carry permit. THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT FOR A PERMIT, OTHER THAN CONCEALED CARRY. There may be local laws, but there's not state law stating you need a permit to own firearms.
FYI, it's not the same as it is in Britain. You can have all the legal guns you want in your house.
If he's immature, there's no statute I can find dealing with that.
If the police raid the house, they can't take those weapons unless there's other problems, like outstanding warrants, drugs found on the property, etc... I'm not an expert, and no one here is either, so read the links I provided, hope that helps some.
Here is the statute relating to selling:
Prohibited sales or transfers of ownership
35-47-2-7 Sec. 7. (a) Except an individual acting within a parent-minor child or guardian-minor protected person relationship or any other individual who is also acting in compliance with IC 35-47-10, a person may not sell, give, or in any other manner transfer the ownership or possession of a handgun or assault weapon (as defined in IC 35-50-2-11) to any person under eighteen (18) years of age.
(b) It is unlawful for a person to sell, give, or in any manner transfer the ownership or possession of a handgun to another person who the person has reasonable cause to believe:
(1) has been:
(A) convicted of a felony; or
(B) adjudicated a delinquent child for an act that would be a felony if committed by an adult, if the person seeking to obtain ownership or possession of the handgun is less than twenty-three (23) years of age;
(2) is a drug abuser;
(3) is an alcohol abuser; or
(4) is mentally incompetent.

If you were in Britain nothing would happen to you for reporting him, but if an incident happened and your house was raided you would be charged for having them in your house, so I take it that it would be similar in America.
Personally speaking I would be frightened to go to sleep with the thought of the guns in my house, what if a burglar broke in and found them he might shoot you.Why would he want an AK 47 anyway?
Don't be silly report them and get them out of your house.
Good Luck.

So much goes unreported because of this same problem. The people who want to report are afraid of repercussions on themselves. I'll tell you right now that you will not get in any trouble if you call the police and report the firearms. For one reason, they are registered in his name and two, the police wil not punish you for doing the right thing. Call it in- let the police tell you how to proceed if they arent going to pick it up themselves.
Dont ever be afraid to do the right thing!
Best of luck

I think there is more to this story. Make him get them legal in your state. If he drinks or does drugs make him get rid of them period. There is nothing more dangerous than a drunk with a gun.

There might not be gun registration in Indiana. I wouldn't worry about it.

You will not go to jail for reporting them and I doubt if your boyfriend will either. But if he is a resident he should get a permit.

tell him to get rid of his stupid guns becuase they only do evil and you'd feal more comfortable if they weren't in the house. If he's your bf you shouldn't report him to the police becuase he can get in a lot of trouble for that. So don't be a snitch just tell him to lose them

If the weapons are registered to him in another state, they are his weapons. If you report them, chances are, he'll have to face a punishment of sorts. If you were not to report it, and the police were to discover them somehow, you could technically be looked at for facilitating a felony.
