Isn't that channel simply the greatest!? I love it too! I think the "weird guy" you mention is Alton Brown. He actually is very fun to watch on his own series, Good Eats. Have you seen it? It's not only fun but educational and you don't even realize you are being educated - both my kids and I like it a lot!
Paula Dean is definitely one of a kind....so sweet and a hoot to boot!!! She makes the most yummy (albeit fattening) foods! I would love to meet her wonderful son - he's still single, right? LOL

I like Mario Batali because he KNOWS the cooking, the regions of Italy it comes from, the regional wines to match it and why there's so much of a certain ingredient used in each region etc... and he's adorable and has no food snob gene - lol
My husband slobbers over Giada, Rachel Ray and he's totally in love with Paula Dean. I like her goofy sons. They're so sweet, but such crummy actors - lol

Paula Deen continuously has recipes i think of i might appreciate, and she or he's so heat and down-South (ooh, and that i like her sons!) Alton Brown is yet another widespread by fact of his geeky nutrition expertise, i stumble on that stuff attractive. yet my actual is guy Fieri, his recipes kick a$$ and he's SO attractive lol!! P.S. every person else undergo in ideas Bobby Flay whilst he first began on nutrition community & had the Grillin and Chillin practice?
