what do i do if my 4yr old son needs the toilet and we are
out do i take my son and daughter into the mens and
do i let my son pee in the urinal and what do i do with my daughter while my son pees

take her in with you. put him in the handicap stall have your daughter stand with her back turned.

I take my son into the women's restroom. I let him go into a stall and I stand outside the stall and wait. At the age of four, I don't think it's a very big issue on making sure he's using the correct bathroom. I see women all the time with their kids, of all sexes, in the women's restroom. No one will complain.

a child at that age is too young to be unattended. all i can say is while your son pees don't let your daughter out of your sight
