I'll travel to the State. I'd my international drive license. Is it OK to rent a car from the airport?

As long as you have a valid drivers license from Taiwan, and the international license which is merely a translation of your valid license into other languages, and you can show BOTH since the "International Drivers License" is NOT a stand alone document, you should have no problem renting a vehicle at the airport.

It will all depend on the rental company. Most renal companies in the airport will take them. Smaller company's will not take them. Call ahead and see if they take the license and if you need any insurance papers also check the age limits. You might be required to buy there own insurance and they will want a major credit car.

Yes and make sure you get the insurance policy offered by the rental company. It may cost but it will be worth the peace of mind.
