It depends entirely on the type of tumour, whether it was benign or malignant and how it was removed.

Malignant tumours do tend to regrow. Benign tumours don't always, especially if all the cells were removed in surgery.

Your vet is the best person to advise whether your cat's particular tumour is likely to return.

The answer to that depends 100% on the type of tumor, at what stage it was removed, and where it was on the body.
