ive taken this for 2 months now.
you begin to SEE results within a few weeks, full results within a month
Im still debating the effectiveness of this drug. For me- i now get lesions that are less severe. i think. But not a big difference.
im going in next week to see if i can get something a bit stronger- maybe tetracycline
it helps a bit though

If your acne is caused by bacteria, it should work fairly thoroughly and quickly. If it's caused by other factors, however, (stress, hormones etc) then it won't be 100% effective. My advice: use it for three months, and if you don't notice a marked improvement, switch to something else. I recommend IPL light treatments. They can be expensive, but they work ridiculously well.

Ive never taken it but I know that it is commonly perscribed for acne...a friend of mine is currently taking it, and her skin looks great. She had severe acne, cause by bacteria...then within 3-4months perfect! Hang in there!

Doxycycline is an antibiotic. They usually prescribe those for bacterial infections. i didnt know they could be prescribed for acne.
