They had a dog groomer washing a dog, and squezzed something in the buttox area. But my dog is getting old, and has warts. But on his butt their is something that looks like a wart. But I was wondering if it can be what this dog groomer squezzed out. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yeah, that is a DIRTY job. It's probably an anal gland. Be really glad you don't have "Smell-O-Vision", because it is totally disgusting.

You really should have your vet take a look at the warts. I don't think it has anything to do with the anal glands, but a vet or professional groomer should be able to tell you.

hi this may be a anal gland squeeze. My dog has this done to her. the vet can do this better by actually putting finger inside of anal canal. Most groomer only do this from outside, isnt as effective. the dog isnt able to poop correctly all the way. dog may bite at rear lot smell flies . hpoes this helps.

It will have been an anal gland that the groomer squeezed. Anal glands are used to scent poo, and can become impacted which is very uncomfortable and usually leads to infection if not dealt with.

You will know if your dog's anal glands need expressing, he will be very uncomfortable around his bottom, licking or biting it or dragging it along the ground.

no, it was this nasty stuff from a gland, that like poisonous or something like that. And you can't squeeze warts.
