I might believe that you thought a snake told you to eat an apple. It's called psychosis. I didn't believe the story in the Bible so I probably wouldn't believe you. Also, it wasn't an apple in the Bible.

Hi, I am a Christian student of the manuscripts. No, I would never believe that a snake told you to eat an apple, and whats more, I would never believe that God condemned you if you did eat fruit.
Thats not what happened in the Garden of Eden. No fruit sin. What happened, and the sin of Eve was much more dangerous and serious than eating fruit.
Here is a question for you:
When Adam and Eve sinned, they tied fig leaves together and made what? Was it a mask to hide their mouths because they ate fruit?
Answer: no, it was aprons to hide their private parts, those parts that participated in the sin they were so ashamed of .
The event in the Garden is a rabbit hole that goes far deeper than most realize.
Understanding that event is absolutely necessary in order to understand most of the rest of the entire Bible, yet many people still think that God condemned people for eating a piece of fruit. Unbelievable, truly.

Again one of these deep Bible students and their deep questions!
Imagine in a few hundred years boarding a deep space shuttle to go to a newly discovered world. You arrive there as the second human to set foot there.
You don't know much about the place. All of a sudden some unknown creature speaks to you! Will you talk back or will you say, "Oh, you strange creature, you cannot be intelligent and talk!
You wouldn't be in a position to know this! Likewise Eve didn't know this., Adam did. For this reason, the Bible says that Eve was totally deceived, and that Adam was not deceived since he had spent perhaps many years studying the animals. He knew this was no animal speaking to his wife!
Get it ? -- Mr wise guy.
If you don't have the background try to ask questions in a non-antagonistic manner. Such questions I asked my father when I was FIVE in a non-antagonistic manner.

Well let us consider:
You are perfect creature with abilities far above today's imperfect version. All animals are under your subjection. They would never cause you harm.
Could you communicate with them? Unknown. Would you be scared if you had never known fear? No.
Remember the snake never told Eve to eat anything. He asked her a question. She provided the answer. He gave her doubts. Then he lied as to consequences and planted the desire for the fruit.
