I took 300 mg, then had bad headaches, went down to 150, etc then 75 to get off it, but I feel like I gained unnatural weight but people keep saying they all lose weight on it. Has anyone else had my problem?

I took it to help me quit smoking years ago. I gained 20 pounds and still smoked. All it made me want to do was sleep, eat & smoke.

I have quit smoking since then. But it took forever to get the weight off!

I was on Effexor XL and gained 30 lbs, then changed to Wellbutrin-lost it all and then some and it seems like I can eat whatever I want and stay the same weight. I only had the feeling like my body was going a million miles a minute for a few days when I started, but it is fine now. I am on 150 now. Good luck. I weaned myself off of it too before and I had no ill effects.

No, I've been on several nerve pills over the years, Wellbutrin for about 2 yrs. I lost 15 lbs. at first and then leveled off. I have gained a few but I do have a thyroid condition also. I don't think the Wellbutrin affected any weight issue one way or the other on myseld. It states one of the side affect is loss of weight. I wish it WOULD do that to me!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's typically not the medication that causes the weight gain, but just people eating more when they feel better or because they got into the habit of eating more while depressed.

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website
http://www.hyperl.info , they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
