Excersize. It's the best way. I don't know about the fad diets but you definately gotta eat healthy. flush your system with a laxative then cut out junk food and soda. Just drink water and 100% fruit juice. Don't go to sleep unitl at least an hour after eating. Try to eat a lot of vegetables and fruit. Not because it's healthy but because you can eat as much as you want and it won't hurt. It will fill you up. Most overweight people enjoy eating and like the feeling of being full. It's all mental.
You don't have to count carbs and all that crap. Everybody knows how to eat right, just stay committed. The first week you excersize is painful but if you stick with it, it starts to get fun. Even better when you go down a few sizes in your cloths.

There is only one way to lose weight and that is to eat less and exercise more. So you dont have to go in for fad diets. Plan your own diet and exercise programme. Try to estimate when you are three quarters full after a meal, and stop there. Also do simple exercises, like walking or swimming for about 20 minutes every day. l

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

a 3 day fad diet is actually not like the other fad diet. It promotes healthy living with balanced eating. This is way better than those no carbs / no fat diet out there.
You can lose sure weight if you follow and don't overindulge yourself. Also exercises are of course required to burn off your fat.
Day 1
Breakfast: Coffee/Tea, 1 egg , 1 slice of toast and 1/2 banana.
Lunch: Coffee/tea, toast with 1/2 cup of tuna.
Dinner: 3 Oz. of chicken, 1 cup of green beans, vanilla ice cream and carrots. And you can consume 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
Day 2
Breakfast: Coffee/Tea, 1/2 grapefruit and a toast.
Lunch: 1/2 cup of tuna, with 4 - 8 saltine crackers.
A saltine crackers is a thin cracker sprinkled lightly with coarse salt made from white flour, yeast, and baking soda.
Dinner: 2 beef franks, a cub of cabbage, 1/2 cup of carrots, 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream.
Day 3
Breakfast: Coffee/tea, 5 saltine crackers, 1 apple, 1 egg, 1 toast and just a little cheddar cheese.
Lunch: Coffee/tea, 1 slice of toast with 1 boiled egg.
Dinner: a cup of tuna, carrots, melon, cauliflower and another 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream.

Exercise, exercise n more exercise. There is simply no other substitute. Believe me, i'm talking from experience.
But then, just exercise wont help. it works only when supplemented by a "healthy diet". as i'm sure you kno,
eat lots of fruits and vegetables-this ensures the flow of nutrients in ur body-whilst avoiding oil,rice n milk products.. also, eating fruits or drinking soup before meals help by reducing the craving to eat food. a short stroll after meals is also a very good option. this is a tried and trusted method.

have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
