Yes, you should be wary of any new claims, and studies...however, zeolites are known to remove very heavy metals from the brain and body...I think it is worth at least following very carefully...

This is a very interesting site. Mercury is only part of speculation regarding "cures" and causes of autism. Nothing in mecury removal has been proven and in fact, this is a rather small case study. What works for one Autist, does not work for all.

Personally, I would not partake in this or allow my son to be part of this particular study.

So if mecury is dealt with (and this has not been used in vaccines in some time), how do we cure the proven genetic factors and unproven enviromental? This is only a piece...

Unfortunately labratories, publishers, even doctors themselves, are looking at the some desperate parents of Autists, and seeing a cash cow. A national epidemic and yet, still sick people looking to make a buck.

I would be cautious about this study. They seem to be promoting the benefits of zeolite before it has been thoroughly studied. They are also planning on studying this drug on eighty children. This is a small number when attempting to perform an exhaustive scientific study. Also not that the people involved are not guaranteed to get zeolite, many will get a placebo.
