I am not a big fan of donating items to organizations that sell for profit. I would rather have them become useful to someone else. I am also not interested in donating them to the church. I dont have time to have a yard sale either.

Yellow Pages look fom womens shelters many single moms out there with there kids. A toy can go along way. I donate all of my kids baby clothes as well as my clothe I never throw any away.

Perhaps there is a homeless shelter or an abused women's shelter that needs your donations.

If you did decide to donate to Salvation Army or Goodwill, etc. Why not ask for a receipt and take the donation off your taxes?

The best place of all is Good Will. You donate your things to the store and 1/2 of the money goes to a charity.

Call Goodwill or Salvation Army. They may pickup.
