Though I have heard conflicting reports on the presence of mercury and pcbs in farm-raised salmon, I have heard positive and good news on wild salmon. I'll never take words straight from the horse's mouth, but I have to say, wild pacific salmon (whichever species is available) sounds to be a good source of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), protein, calcium, vitamin d and several other important nutrients.

In lieu of this, what would say is my exposure at present? From what I've heard of keta salmon it's not a very large fish, maybe growing up to 30 or 40 inches, which is nothing next to a large bluefin or yellowfin tuna.

Thanks,

Av

If you like it, then go for it (in moderation). If you'll be eating it only for the health benefits, then why not try something like Iceland Health Omega 3? It's a great supplement.
