I'm going to take your question 100% literally. You can carry the concealed handgun permit anywhere, even if handguns are unconditionally banned. What you mean to ask is what states will recognize the NC concealed handgun permit. The link below, from the NC Department of Justice is a list of states that currently recognize NC concealed handgun permits.

NOTE: NC permit holders carrying handguns in these state would have the same rights as residents of those states with permits issued by those states. They may not be the same as the rights NC recognizes for permit holders in NC. It is wise to consult any state in which you intend to carry a handgun to be sure of their laws.

There are 21 states that will recognise your permit.
The North Carolina Department of Justice has a list of these states, you can get a list from there web site.

It's called a recriprocal hand gun law recently put in place. Check with your agency that issued your permit in N. Carolina and they will tell you what state participate in this law. When my agency renewed my permit they sent me a brochure on the new law. Also check you state agencies website- they may have a link.

I think you have to be a resident of NC to get a gun permit. It is a violation of Federal Law to purchase and take possession of a handgun in GA if you are not a resident of GA.
