Jr himself did point out as quickly as that he might evaluate working it close to the top of his profession. He additionally pronounced that he wouldn;t be oppoesed to somebody else driving it, stating the reality that there are some teenagers available working pass karts appropriate now who've in no way heard of Dale Sr, however the three is their # and it would not be undemanding to tell them no as quickly as the attain the perfect point after having it their total lives. It truly boils all the way down to what NASCAR and Childress pick although. I don;t see Childress telling his grandson NO whilst/if he makes it to the Cup point and that i don;t see Brian France Jr or whoever turing down the attention and money that it would usher in. Jr has a 5 365 days settlement with HMS and that i doubt he will force for them previous that element, truly if he is going by using with bringing his national group as much as the Cup point.

He stands to make more money than imaginable. He is my favorite driver after Sr. died and he will likely never make it out of his father's shadow anyway...but is that all bad, what a great tribute to Sr. So he didn't get 51%, big deal. He's going to do his own thing for 3-5 yrs maybe drive the #3, maybe not, make a gazillion $ then buy out DEI for pennies on the dollar and all will end well anyway. He will drive the #3 al least once someday and we will all go buy a diecast, then drive the #33 and we will all go buy the diecast then go back to the #8 and we will go buy... ( see the pattern) Go JR GO!!! One of the single greatest blunders of all time. I read somewhere the other day that it only took the Boston Red Sox 86 years to make up for trading Babe Ruth!!

I said this earlier I would lvoe Jr. to do that and I'm not a fan but I think he should do it his last year of racing and trrade the 8 for the 3 and DEI can have the 3 like they always wanted and Jr can keep his 8 car and Budweiser and he can make his own name for himself instead of trying to follow in his fahter's footsteps which may not sound like a bad idea but he will never be his father.

No on the number 3 car for Dale Jr. He needs to make a name for himself and if he drives the number 3 car he will be back in the shadow of his dad. Don't get me wrong. But he can't get out of the shadow of his dad if he drives his car. Dale did good by getting out of D.E.I. I think he will do good and make a name for himself. It would be great If Teresa let him have the 8 number. But I don't see her doing that. It would be nice if she did.The nunber 8 belongs to Dale Jr NOT that Teresa. The number 8 has been if the family way before Teresa came along.

I want him to go to Childress if that will make him happy. Although, I don't want him to race the #3. He can race another number. He even said he won't race the 3.

No the #3 belongs to Sr. and it should stay that way. Jr. said he did not want to drive that number. His Father died in that car why would he want that number. I would like to see Bud to buy the number 8 from Dei and stay that way no matter which team he drives for.

It would be huge for the market. The only issue I would have is that Jr would always be under his father's shadow. If Jeff Gordon drove the #43 car people would always still think of it as Petty's car.

I do. That would be totally cool. I think it would be hard at first for Jr to drive his daddies old number, but hey give it a try. He will do well wherever he goes. GO JR!!!!!!
