Do I have to change the stock car speaker if i put a new 12"sub?

No; it's not necessary to change the stock speakers if you're happy with their sound quality. The subwoofer can be adjusted so that it complements the speaker system instead of overpowering it.

Your car would probably sound better if you did change the speakers, but it's not necessary if you don't want to.

As for the other answers: if you install a new subwoofer, and you can't hear the rest of your speakers, then the answer is to turn down the sub. The subwoofer bass should be balanced with the rest of the audio system; if it's overpowering, you've done something wrong (unless overpowering bass was what you wanted all along).

Yes.....If you dont change the factory speakers then they will be hard to hear over the sub

no as long as you amp the sub seperately. however all you will hear is the sub.
