I recently read an article about seaweed wraps. It claimed that you lose inches, but it also eases the pain associated with arthritis. Has anyone ever tried this and if so, did it relieve the pain???

Seaweed is loaded with nutrition from minerals and vitamins. People use analgesic creams for arthritis and say that it helps them, why can't a wrap help? The skin is the biggest organ in the body and if you can hydrate your skin with seaweed its possible it would ease arthritis pain.

I have had these wraps in the past, but it was not for arthritis. I can say that I did feel better Afterwards.

Why not give it a try? You have very little to lose and possibly something to gain.

Nothing that is absorbed through the skin (as far as wraps) is going to help arthritis. Arthritis (if you suffer from it) is deep down in the bones and joints. NOthing that is applied topically is going to help. I can 't vouch for lasers though, but I can honestly tell you wraps will not work...

Do you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis? or osteoarthritis? Or....what? What kind of specialist will you see? I suggest a rheumatologist, who can assist you in a correct diagnosis of your problem. There are over 300 kinds of arthritis; try to find yours, it takes patience and a good doctor! Docs sometimes give Tramadol for the pain of osteoarthritis. There are many helpful drugs available. Best luck to you.
