Wrong. There are quite a few countries that are officially Christian, including England, which supports the Church of England. France, Spain, Italy (not just the Vatican, which is indeed a separate country), and I think several others. Most, if not all, of Central and South American countries are officially Christian, many officially Catholic.

And don't forget that Israel is quite specifically a Jewish country.

There are no Islamic countries.
Nada, none.
There are countries with leaders who are Muslim but there is no country that follows sharia law, hence no Muslim country.
Please don't refer to Saudi Arabia - the head is a Muslim who is self appointed - there are no kings in Islam.
Pakistan - no way, secular and dictatorship.
Bahrain and co, - the monte carlo of the middle east.
Malaysia - secular.
etc etc etc

As for the Vatican, I don't think they follow strict Christian law eventhough the head is a Christian. In extreme cases of law breaking, they look to the Italians to sort out their judicial problems. So even the Papal States is not a theocracy.

I agree that there are very few countries that have Christianity as their national religion. However there are Christian people in just about every country in the world. Not to mention that in many of those countries they hold the majority over other religions. So if you're insinuating that Christians are in a minority compared to Muslims, then you are very much mistaken.

Disagree. A number of countries are defacto theocracies. Many countries will not enact laws or policies that will contradict christian religious doctrine. One need only to look to some Hispanic countries, or even Ireland to see examples.

I will give that to you, but in an Islamic country at least if you do not believe you will be killed. In a christian country you are just simply left alone. I would much rather be left alone than slaughtered.

Lots of muslims and christian people are not really muslims and christians and lots of those who seem to be atheist, have deep faith inside their hearts.
I don't think the formal religion of a country shows up enough things to us...
God bless all poeple all around the world :)

Thank God.

By the way, the Vatican is a Mafia stronghold.....

And for the benefit of a few Christians who replied stating that the Vatican is not a country...please note that Vatican City is the world's smallest fully independent nation-state.

Stato della Città del Vaticano

Your right.

If there are christian countries they would have corrected the daily killing, torture and power abuse of George Bush. Who claim that he spoke to God, and God told him to kill all Muslims from Afganistan, to tiny East African Country of Somalia.
