RAM is a physical thing. Hardware. It cannot be doubled without adding more to the system. However, the paging file (virtual memory) uses HD space to emulate RAM. This is already automatically on in Windows, and manually increasing its size, though you can in system properties, won't really do much - only adding real ram will help noticably.

There is no software that will do this. Yes, there are plenty of ram boosters out there for download, but they only cause your system to slow down at times and are constantly acting to increase ram with can be very annoying relying on the portion of your hard drive reserve to increase the strength but not the number. The only way to go is to take your computer to a software or computer store and have a chip of 128 MB added to a port on the computer hard drive,

Yes, I remember there were some programs back in the 486 days that used virtual memory in place of physical ram if I recall correctly. But i'm not sure if this is already built in to modern windows op systems.
Here is a link to a previous person asking the same quesion. Its very informative.

Hmmm. You want to add memory, but don't want to add memory? Tough one.
Windows uses a portion of the hard disk as RAM, constantly swapping data between RAM and hard disk as required. The speed of your hard disk is in the order of 1000 times slower than that of your main memory. Inefficient use of the swap file could considerable slow down your system to a very great extent. One of the best ways to speed up the swap file usage is to create a permanent swap file.
In a permanent swap file, the file used for swapping information has a fixed size and location on your hard disk. When a temporary swap file is used, the location and size of the file is determined by application being used and is not predictable. Also, since a temporary swap file is constantly written to and is not fixed in size, it would be highly fragmented across the partition that holds it.
A better option is to create the swap file on a dedicated partition on your hard disk. By doing this, the swap file will never be fragmented since that partition is only being utilized by the swap file itself. You can configure the swap file size and location from Control Panel > System > Performance > Virtual Memory. The size of the swap file should be around 2.5 times the amount of RAM on the system.
Free software is availabe to recover/defragment existing RAM, and that's not a bad idea for you, as well.
May I recommend FREERAM PRO- http://www.yourwaresolutions.com/software.html - an application to free and optimize your computer's RAM, resulting in an increase in system performance and productivity. Automatically configures itself for ease of use and also features advanced options and customizability. FreeRAM XP Pro has been designed to be easy to use yet highly customizable by computer novices and experts alike.
Good luck.

Base upon the table you given me, this math concern could be define as this y = mx + b to discover mx ( slope) you're taking 2 random element and do y2-y1/x2-x1 i will use the element ( 0, 0 ) and ( 4, 12) to make my element x1, y1 x2, y2 So once you do the maths it quite is like this ( 12-0 ) / ( 4 - 0 ) = 3 so 3 is your slope and you plug it back interior the formulation y=mx+b y= 3x + b there is not any choose for b by fact we don't choose any consistent to characteristic to that, so the respond is y=3x i do no longer think of there's a continuing proportionality for this complications. wish this help.

RAM is not a software it is hardware.
hardware cannot just be downloaded, you have to put it into your computer manually/physically.
Go to a computer shop and ask if they can add more RAM to your computer
