I'm trying to find a song but it's proving to be pretty hard.?

Question

The lyrics go something like,

Been trying for the past week to find it... Have been using different search engines, message boards... yeah, no luck so far.
If anyone here knows I'd be grateful, thanks a lot.

It was a rock song.

It sounded a little like Kasabian, but not as much electronic sounds. I remember mostly the guitar and maybe some bass, as well as the drums of course.

Absolutely no idea when it was released. It sounded like a newer song, but just because it sounded newer doesn't mean it is, you know?

I actually saw it on the season finale episode of The Unit, though that probably doesn't help too much, either.

And if you don't find who it is, try to contact the music manger of the Unit. You have his name in the begining of every episode, so try to find his blog or something like that and send him an email.
