after 1 day he has sent an APOLOGY mail,and infomed that it happened by mistake. Mail was about taking some legal advise from an advocate, asking some professional precautions.....means totally normal.

No its not a cyber crime under chapter XI of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in India. Such a mistake can not be covered in any of the offences mentioned in chapter XI of the said Act, it is neither tampering with computer source document nor hacking with computer system nor publishing of information which is obscene in electronic form nor any other offences mentioned there.

No its not a crime its just an error .. you can just send in another mail apologizing for the mistake if that makes you feel better !!

If the content of the mail was abusive or illegal, then its a crime. But since u have sent a apology then it might not become that serious. Better get adviced by a cyber professional.

No don't worry ! Even if u have written some scrap the mail will reach the ID if there is one with the ID. The chances r only 50 - 50.

Even if the mail reaches, the user will ignore it. thinking it is a crap mail.

No, it is not crime but you can be in trouble.
A few days ago, I wrote a ordinary introductory business letter. Addressee was an advocate. He shouted on me, he told me that he can send me in Jail for my letter.

well it depends what u wrote in it.
its not a crime, but if u did send a plan to blow up the parliment, then ya u did create a CRIME, but not cyber crime:-)

but there is one more thing how do u prove its a mistake?
