If your blood test came back positive then chances are you have the virus.

Blood tests can be wrong sometimes however. No test is ever 100% accurate. Even paternity tests are 99.999% accurate (or something like that). NOTHING is truly 100%.

If you think it's wrong, then get tested again. The most preferred way, and the most common way for getting tested for herpes is by a physical exam when sores are present and to have a fluid sample from the sores.

If your blood work came back positive there is a chance that you might have contracted the virus. If you don't feel comfortable with the results, re-take the test again. I've had herpes now for 5yrs and my test show that I am positive but, yet I only get outbreak once a year. Good luck and hope this helps.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?

But after a friend share this video everything has changed.
